Sandra Boots (De Goorn, 1970), also known as Boots, draws inspiration from the colors of and everything she sees in daily life. She reflects her experience of humanity and nature on her canvases.
From nothing to something, She can express her feelings in her art. This diversity of color and movement is so incredibly large that every square centimeter tells his or her story. It’s her mystery, so to speak. The painting remains alive and to her, it’s never finished.
The artworks are distinguished by the extremely powerful use of color, finished with a thick layer of epoxy resin. The works are painted on thick linen canvases and can be hung without a frame.
