Yulia Muravyeva was born in Russia and has lived in the Netherlands since 2010.
It was a big surprise for Yulia’s parents that their daughter was talented in drawing and painting. Especially the mixing of colors has fascinated her since her early childhood. Later she studied as a classical arts teacher at the university and turned towards restoration and painting icons.
Yulia then progressed to making murals and paintings. Gradually these became more removed from classical art and developed much more of a contemporary feel. The artist is now well-known and appreciated for her colorful flowery meadows. Her work encompasses a bright vivid palette of colors in her wonderful flower paintings, where she combines palette colors and thin lines, creating a peaceful and positive atmosphere.. The flower buds are built up in layers of thick acrylic paint to give a richness of texture and the backgrounds always have beautiful color transitions. Her main ambition today is to transmit her positive energy by showing spectators her world vision, symbolized by joy and perfect happiness.
The thickness of the flowers give the artwork extra dimension. However, this is difficult to photograph. You are therefore cordially invited to visit the artworks in the gallery or to take it with you. Please contact us for more information about the artworks. We ship worldwide.
