André Joosse is an urban explorer in heart and soul. He combines his passion for industrial architecture and photography and visits abandoned buildings throughout Europe.
André makes impressive Urbex photographs of old textile factories, hospitals, coal mines and abandoned residences: all forgotten places; neglected and dilapidated. Joosse has exhibited in many cultural centers in the Netherlands and Belgium, where he was part of several photo exhibitions in Amsterdam and Antwerp.
‘Urban exploring’, abbreviated urbex or UE, is visiting, photographing and documenting infrastructure made by humans, mostly abandoned buildings or not publicly accessible locations. The term literally means exploring the urban, but also sometimes places in the countryside. ‘- Wikipedia
